Her Excellency Dora Francisca Edu-Buandoh, High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana to Canada, had a productive engagement with Steve Tipman, CEO of Trade Facilitation Office (TFO) Canada, and Paula Caldwell, Board Chair of the Canada-Africa Chamber of Commerce, on 26th February, 2026.
Discussions were centered on deepening trade and investment cooperation between Ghana and Canada, with a focus on facilitating targeted trade missions to Ghana, developing joint commercial initiatives, and connecting Ontario-based businesses to high-potential opportunities across key sectors of the Ghanaian economy.
The High Commissioner, accompanied by Simon Atieku, Minister/Head of Chancery, and Charles Osei-Mensah, Minister-in-Charge of Trade and Investment at the High Commission in Ottawa. Together, we explored practical pathways to expand market access for Ghanaian products, strengthen business-to-business linkages, and advance mutually beneficial partnerships. Looking forward to translating these conversations into concrete outcomes that drive growth, innovation, and shared prosperity.
