Ghana Mission at Diplomatic Fair at the University of Ottawa

The High Commission participated in a Diplomatic Fair at the University of Ottawa campus in Ottawa on Wednesday, 8^th February 2023.

The fair was organized by the International House of the University of Ottawa Students’ Union. There are over seven thousand (7,000) International students in the University from one hundred and forty-five (145) different countries. Twenty-five (25) High Commissions and Embassies participated in the fair.

The High Commission took advantage of the platform created by the University to mount a table to showcase Ghana’s local food, such as waakye, jollof rice, fried plantain and fried fish. It also displayed promotional materials on Ghana’s tourism, cultural and economic sectors.

The High Commission’s stand was well patronized by students, staff and visitors who visited the fair.
